Huge fonts in new Chromium 38

A new version of chrome 38 has landed today in testing/jessie, it seems that the problem is fixed and the argument file can be avoided. That is why I love debian (two days in order to fix the issue in testing).
Another quite disgusting issue with Chromium, in my desktop box (an old system) chromium browser started to crash gnome-shell when watching videos (youtube mainly). It seems that here is a bug in DRI3:

And the last version of chromium uses DRI3. All the desktop keeps crashing all the fucking time so I finally disabled DRI3 using the environment variable at chromium startup:
export LIBGL_DRI3_DISABLE=1
At least now it does not crash as soon as any video is started (not very tested but it seems better now).
